FOUR PLATES WITH FLOWERS
OF THE MEADOW: 4/4
  |   Die Blutenmitte putze ich mit Watte sauber aus (oben links). Mit Chrom-gelb filge ich das Blilteninnere hinzu (oben Mine). Mit Pompadour male ich die Bliltenstempel und Stiele der Pflanzen (oben rechts, unten links). Fur das Blattwerk nehme ich zuerst Hellgriln mit dem Pinsel auf (unten rechts). Dann nehme ich abwechselnd Russischgriln, ganz wenig Schwarz und auch etwas Capucine in die Pinsel-spitze: so erhalten Sie mit einem Pinsel-andruck ein plastisches Blattwerk (Abb. Seite 29 oben). Zum Schluss filge ich mit TiJrkis die Vergissmeinnicht hin-zu (unten).
|  | I thoroughly clean the centre of the flo-wer with a cotton stick (above on the left). With chromium yellow I add the heart of the flower (above centre). The stamens and stems of the plant are now painted with pompadour (top right, below left). For the foliage I first take light green on the brush (below right). Next I take, one after the other, Russian green, very little black and a little capucine on the tip of the brush: in this way you paint three dimensional foliage with just one stroke (p. 29, top). Finally I add the forget-me-nots with some turquoise (below).
